They are seeking a District Operations Recruiter who will develop and execute recruiting strategies, manage the onboarding process, and implement training plans for new hires.ResponsibilitiesWork with the HR Talent Manager and the Store Managers on recruiting planning meetingsLead the recruiting and interviewing plan for each open positionEfficiently and effectively fill open positionsConduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementationDevelop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of needPost job openings, track candidate progress and maintain accurate candidate recordsConduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fitUtilize the internet for recruitmentPost positions to appropriate Internet sourcesUse social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidatesLocate and document where to find ideal candidatesCommunicate with managers and associates regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leadsCreate contacts within the industryDevelop working relationships with outside organizations to keep abreast of new eventsSchedule, plan, and implement new hire onboarding and orientationLeverage Workday to streamline the onboarding processComplete the new hire modules on the Learning Management System (LMS)Give store and department toursWork with stores to create a schedule for all new hires, input into the UKG systemSchedule onboarding modules that are to be completed after orientationSchedule, plan and implement training plans for all newly hired associatesWorking with the training or home stores for the associate to ensure the LMS modules, hands-on training, and follow up feedback are being completed as needed during the first thirty (30) days of hirePerform other special projects as assignedSkillsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) requiredMinimum 4 years' experience in management in a retail/restaurant/supermarket environmentAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in business or Human Resource related field desirableCompany OverviewWeis Markets is a large regional grocery chain headquartered in Sunbury, PA.
