[Remote] District Office Sales Manager

The District Office Sales Manager will lead the strategic growth of ABB Motion Services, managing a network of district offices and collaborating with internal teams to drive sales and business development.ResponsibilitiesSetting and executing DO strategy, planning and executing motor partner workshop programs with DOs, developing and refining portfolio expansion strategy, identifying gaps in DO coverage, capability, or performance and creating action plansRegular check-ins and calls with DO managers across the country to review pipeline, opportunities, and blockers, bridging DO needs with internal ABB teams — resolving quoting delays, order issues, or execution challenges, attending internal sales and channel management meetings to represent the DO channel, on-site visits to DOs for relationship building, reviews, and joint customer callsCoaching DOs on specific deals, helping prioritize and strategize on larger opportunities, reviewing and monitoring pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and order intake across the network, preparing and reviewing sales reports for VP of SalesLead, coach, and develop direct team of 1 manager and 5 employees, provide strategic direction and support to 23 indirect DO locations, drive alignment, engagement, and accountability across a geographically distributed and extended sales organizationSkillsBachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field (Master's/MBA a plus)10+ years in service sales, sales management, or business development managementStrong knowledge of motors and drives services businessProven B2B sales and complex go-to-market development experienceExperience with distributor/district office networks (strong plus)Ability to develop and execute long-term commercial strategiesValid US work authorization; willingness to travel as neededProficiency in Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office; fluent in EnglishBenefitsChoice between two medical plan options: A PPO plan called the Copay Plan OR a High Deductible Health Plan (with a Health Savings Account) called the High Deductible Plan.Choice between two dental plan options: Core and Core PlusVision benefitCompany paid life insurance (2X base pay)Company paid AD&D (1X base pay)Voluntary life and AD&D – 100% employee paid up to maximumsShort Term Disability – up to 26 weeks – Company paidLong Term Disability – 60% of pay – Company paid.
