[Remote] District Data Support Analyst

The Foundation for California Community Colleges is seeking a District Data Support Analyst for the California College Guidance Initiative. This role involves overseeing the processing and troubleshooting of district transcript files, supporting Local Education Agencies, and ensuring data validity for educational systems.ResponsibilitiesRegularly process and review logs for transcript files in AWS and CaliforniaColleges.edu environmentsDevelop documentation that considers the technical and end user needs to create the transcript files and convey data validity concerns in an articulate, actionable mannerEnsure progress on cases in accordance with case management specificationsSupport ongoing quality assurance testing on transcript files for existing and onboarding districtsPerforming research and designing test case scenarios to identify system bugsSupport investigation and resolution of transcript file issues both structural and data validityDevelop and maintain documentation that supports the processing of transcript filesCommunicating and/or virtually meeting with Data Leads in CCGI partner LEAs to resolve data file related itemsOther duties as assigned by your supervisorSkillsBachelor's Degree in a Business, Math, Information Technology related major or equivalent professional experienceAt least two years of cumulative professional experienceAt least three years experience with K-12 or higher education transcript data sets.
