[Remote] Distributor Sales Engineer - Low/Medium Voltage Products

They are seeking a Distributor Sales Engineer for the Central and South Texas markets, responsible for driving stock product sales and developing relationships with channel partners to achieve sales goals. Responsibilities Develop and implement plans for strategic accounts that exceed expectations in revenue retention/growth, account profitability, and customer satisfaction/loyalty Pursue long-term account strategy that maximizes profits May identify, develop and manage channel partners to achieve channel goals Assist in cultivating long-term relationships with the appropriate key account decision makers Develop a complete understanding of the organizations structure and key buying influences of assigned account Perform client presentations articulating the value proposition of product / solution / service offerings Provide management with suggestions for improving volume, market share and price levels May develop forecasts, budgets and operating plans for sales channels Product support to include but not limited to; Residential Products, Safety Switches, IEC/NEMA Control, Panelboards, Molded Case Circuit Breakers, Switchboards, Medium Voltage gear, Lighting Panels, Low Voltage Switchgear, Busway, and Motor Control Centers Skills Bachelor's degree in engineering is strongly desired, although a combination of education (HS Diploma or GED equivalency is a minimum requirement) and directly related work experience will also be considered 1+ years of sales experience Proficient in Microsoft Office Self Starter with strong work ethic and committed to do what it takes to get the job done Excellent oral, written and presentation skills Travel required 20% Individual must possess a valid Driver's license in good standing Individual must be at least 21 years of age in order to participate in the required Siemens vehicle plan Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization Power distribution & Controls Product sales experience Knowledge of LV MV power distribution product line Benefits Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees.
