They are seeking a Distributor Account Manager to oversee distributor sales activities in the Gulf Coast region, focusing on building relationships, meeting sales goals, and providing excellent customer service.ResponsibilitiesReviews and analyzes sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new marketsIdentifies and analyzes customer preferences to properly direct sales effortsConsults with potential customers to understand their needs; identifies and suggests equipment, products, or services that will meet those needsBuild and develop successful sales of ASP distributor core product lines in assigned regionMeet sales plan goals for revenue, profit margin and new customer generationWork with Sales Leadership Team to make strategic pricing decisions to maintain marginsDevelop a deep understanding of the customers and marketTrain and educate distributors to develop solutions that leverage Advance valueManage and forecast opportunitiesCoordinate with the team to ensure excellent customer service and job profitabilityCoordinate closely with marketing, engineering, manufacturing and accounting and work within company guidelinesCommunicate regularly with management about goal progress, new business opportunities, etcResolves customer complaints, staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operationsBuild and support long-term relationships with customers, the Advance Team and suppliersCustomer support is timely, thorough, and professionalWork in a safe mannerLive Advance’s core valuesSkillsBachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, or related field, OR comparable record of sales leadership experience requiredThree (3) years of outside B2B sales experienceAbility to work independently and accomplish tasks without supervisionStrong business acumen β€” understanding basic financial principlesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skillsStrong supervisory and leadership skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareMaterial Handling industry experience preferredWholesale/Distributor sales channel experience preferredCompany OverviewAdvance Storage Products is a tech firm that provide the most reliable and cost-effective solution to customer's material storage needs.
