The role involves ensuring successful project completion, managing Distribution Centers, and improving operational efficiency while mentoring employees.ResponsibilitiesProvides management, organizational, business, and technical leadership and services to ensure successful completion of tasks on a timely basis and within budgetSuccessfully operates Distribution Centers, consistently meets APLs, improves space utilization, and reduces costsMaintains audit readiness through peak demand and special projectsUtilizes WMS and other Government Data SystemsContinuously improves operations through the growth and development of supervisors and leadsExtensive experience in organizational development, team building, mentoring, and problem-solvingMonitors the Quality Management System (QMS)Ensure that the responsibilities of authority and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understoodPromote effective two-way communications throughout the business operationAbility to deploy globally in support of emerging requirements, within 48 hours of notificationImplements employee incentives and mentors/trains employeesSkillsBachelor's Degree (or equivalent five (5) years Government or private-sector work experience) and one (1) years of management experienceExperience in managing projects, contracts, funds, and resourcesMust be articulate, creative, a problem solver, a decision-maker, and a change agentAbility to deploy globally in support of emerging requirements within 48 hours of notificationsHas the authority to resolve problems, allocate resources, manage personnel, and monitor operation performance taking direction from the Government to ensure complete satisfactionProficient with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Access, and OutlookDemonstrate a good attitude and ability to work as a member of a teamPosition requires self-motivation and the ability to work effectively under a minimum of supervisionAbility to multi-task efficiently works in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects and has strong attention to detailMust have a current United States Government SECRET Personnel Security Clearance or be able to successfully complete a U.S. government administered InvestigationMust be a U.S. CitizenMust be able to maintain a U.S. Government SECRET clearanceCompany OverviewOlgoonik is a strong family of government and commercial contracting companies specializing in construction, security, logistics, and environmental services.
