[Remote] Discovery Consultant, Performance Partnership

As a Discovery Consultant, you will work with customers to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements across their lab networks, optimizing organizational performance through the implementation of innovative strategies. Responsibilities • Work alongside the Performance Partnership (PP) Principal and PP analyst to assess gaps in customers’ current operations and make recommendations to the PP Principal • Understand the linkages between strategic objectives and process improvements, using both analytical tools and consulting techniques • Collect current data points in order to develop proof points & marketing material to promote the success of the program • Define linkages between strategic objectives and process improvements, using both analytical tools and consulting techniques • Help customers re-engineer new or existing operations to create continuous improvement strategy. Work with PP Principal to create a roadmap for deployment of strategy through tactical planning and execution • Identify gaps in current project milestone deliverables and develop / implement innovative methods to close gaps to be able to provide desired results on time • Contribute to executive VIP presentations with executive clients, alongside the PP Principal and Solutions Executive and Health Systems Executives Skills • BS or BA Degree from an accredited institution • 5+ years experience in laboratory management • 7+ years track record of commercial experience with proven success in continuous improvement, sales or consulting • Excellent communication and presentation skills required • Willingness to travel 75% with the potential for future international travel • MBA and consultancy experience or, a Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management, Health Care Management, Business or Industrial Engineering • Background or knowledge of hospital finance • Background in project management Benefits • Paid time off • Medical/dental/vision insurance • 401(k) Company Overview • Danaher is a leading global life sciences and diagnostics innovator, committed to accelerating the power of science and technology to improve human health.
