[Remote] Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) Analyst (Senior Financial Modeling Analyst)

Foundation Finance Company is a fast-growing consumer finance company that collaborates with home improvement contractors across the U.S. to provide flexible financing options. The Senior Financial Modeling Analyst will create models, evaluate investment opportunities, and collaborate with leadership to make strategic financial recommendations.ResponsibilitiesBuild complex, cash flow-based models to project performance, analyze risks, and structure debt or equity tranchesAnalyze market trends, industry benchmarks, and the competitive landscape to provide recommendations for strategic financial planningEvaluate potential investment opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, and provide comprehensive financial models and projections, and present findings to executive team and/or board of directorsCollaborate with other departments, teams, and executives to integrate new products and pricing strategies into forecasts, along with staying up to date on expenses and current market trendsCreate and run forecasts with multiple scenarios and stress tests including the creation of new products or prices to analyze the net impact on financialsLiaise with external partners related to operations, audits, banking, and consultingCoordinate with internal teams to provide data, statistics, validation, answers, etc. to investors and other third parties as necessaryIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement and develop recommendations to increase efficiency, consistency and quality of data and reportsDevelop connection capabilities from multiple sources (accounting software, servicing software, etc.) and build repeatable reportsOther duties as assigned by management.
