Dodge Construction Network is seeking a Director of Website & SEO to lead the strategy, optimization, and operational management of Construction.com as a high-performing digital growth platform. The role involves overseeing website product ownership, driving SEO initiatives, and enhancing conversion rates, while collaborating with various teams to improve user experience and performance metrics.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary business owner and product manager for Construction.com, TheBluebook.com, and related web experiencesPartner across Product Marketing, Content, Brand, Web Development, and Marketing Operations to gather requirements and prioritize initiatives, in addition to contributing your own ideas to the backlogTranslate business needs into user stories, functional requirements, and development ticketsManage and prioritize the website roadmap based on business impact, customer experience, SEO opportunity, and technical dependenciesWork closely with Web Development and Martech Operations teams on website infrastructure, integrations, tagging, tracking, and technical implementationEnsure the website delivers a scalable, high-performing experience across acquisition, engagement, and conversion journeysOwn the overall SEO strategy, execution, and performance for Construction.com, Thebluebook.com, and other propertiesLead both programmatic and non-programmatic SEO initiatives designed to drive qualified organic traffic and pipeline growthManage and optimize SEO strategies including:Technical SEO improvementsInternal and external linking strategiesSite architecture and crawl optimization“Money keyword” targeting and content optimizationTear-down pages and competitive search experiencesIndustry and solution-based landing pagesPartner closely with Product Marketing and Content Marketing to prioritize and launch new search-driven content initiativesStay current on search algorithm changes, SEO trends, and shifts in AI-driven search behaviorHelp define and execute Dodge’s AI Search Optimization / Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) strategy to improve visibility across AI-powered search experiencesPartner with Performance Marketing team to improve website and landing page conversion performanceIdentify opportunities to improve user experience, engagement, navigation, CTAs, and conversion flowsDevelop and execute A/B testing and experimentation strategies across web and search landing pagesContinuously optimize conversion paths and user journeys using behavioral and analytical insightsPartner with Martech Analytics on website analytics strategy, implementation, governance, and reporting, including use of GA4 for website performance measurement and insightsDesign dashboards and reporting frameworks that provide visibility into:Traffic and engagement trendsOrganic search performanceConversion rates and funnel progressionLanding page effectivenessSEO impact and contributionPartner with Martech Operations and RevOps teams to ensure clean attribution, tagging, and tracking across the website ecosystemDeliver actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders and executive leadershipSkillsBachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field or equivalent education and work experience10+ years of experience in website management, SEO, digital growth, or related disciplines within B2B SaaS, technology, media, data platforms, or data-driven businessesExperience serving as a website product owner or managing complex web ecosystems with multiple stakeholdersStrong expertise across technical SEO, content SEO, programmatic SEO, and modern search optimization strategiesHands-on experience with GA4, website analytics, and performance reportingExperience partnering closely with Development and technical teams on infrastructure, integrations, and implementation projectsStrong understanding of conversion rate optimization methodologies, testing frameworks, and user experience best practicesComfortable balancing strategic planning with hands-on executionExcellent prioritization, communication, and stakeholder management skillsFamiliarity with CMS platforms, tag management systems, Martech infrastructure, and modern web architectureStrong perspective on how AI is reshaping search behavior and discovery, including experience or interest in AI Search Optimization / AEO strategiesExperience within commercial construction, B2B marketplaces, media, or data platformsBenefitsMarket competitive salaryComprehensive benefitsFor applicable roles, uncapped variable incentive plans or an annual discretionary performance bonusRemote, home-office based roleMinimal travel for this roleBackground check is required after a conditional job offer is madeReasonable Accommodation - If you need an accommodation or assistance completing the online application, please email [email protected] OverviewDodge Construction Network is a technology-driven construction project data, analytics, and insights provider.
