[Remote] Director, Regional Marketing

They are seeking a Director of Regional Marketing to support current brands and ensure healthcare provider educational objectives are met through analytics and relationship building with key opinion leaders. This role involves cross-functional collaboration and strategic planning to enhance marketing initiatives and educational resources.ResponsibilitiesBecome a subject matter expert for customer analytics utilizing physician level data (i.e. the Compass report) to identify opportunities and provide data based direction to the brand teams on where to focus marketing initiatives to grow the businessIdentify and expand regional KOLs. Develop KOL mappingDevelop and execute an in-depth plan of action to engage regularly with these regional KOLs to grow advocacy, collect insights for shaping market strategy, and support effective promotional and sponsored programsConnect KOLs with cross functional partners and leadership for participation in certain activities (i.e. advisory boards, Taiho training, other speaking engagements), where applicableOptimize organizational presence and key customer engagements through coordination with matrix partners (i.e., Marketing, Field, Access, Medical Affairs)Work cross functionally with Medical Affairs to gain alignment between Commercial and Medical Affairs initiatives where appropriate. Specific areas of focus would be pathway and KOL engagementWork cross functionally with Market Access on GPO’s and large network accounts, ensuring community physicians are receiving educational resources through GPO channelsIdentify and build relationships with academic and community HCPs who could be potential speakers (Physicians, Pharmacists, and NP/PAs) for peer to peer educationEvaluate and recruit speakers ensuring they have the disease area/product knowledge, presence, and ability to interact with program attendeesProvide input to the marketing leads regarding the Speaker Bureau including the development of educational content and training, ensuring compliance with SOPs and promotional guidelines. Assit the marketing lead(s )as an additional speaker bureau point of contact for the fieldBe the face of the commercial team to the KOL Community and attend regional/local conferences and programs to engage with KOL/attendees as well as provide feedback on how to improve Taiho presence/content at these programsFacilitate interaction and communication with Speaker Bureau HCPs and key KOLs, as well as communication and alignment across brand teams, internal functions, and multi-agency managementDevelop Conference Symposia/Product Theaters strategy and plans for key congress meetings. Jointly work with marketing team (Sr. Director/Director) to lead on site management of symposia/product theaters at key congressesManage tracking/approval for compliant Sunshine Act reportingEmploy overall expertise in events planning, advertising/increasing awareness and content development across all aforementioned activities to ensure optimal outcomesRegularly collaborate with team members, vendors and other company employees to understand educational needsShare operational insights and knowledge from the HCP education effort to the Brand Marketers to improve impactSkillsBA/BS degree in science or business-related discipline, or the equivalent in experienceMinimum 10 years of pharmaceutical marketing and/or sales experience (working within a marketing team or as a sales representative in a pharmaceutical company)Strong scientific acumen and business acumen, with the ability to use knowledge of the industry and marketplace to formulate strategies that identify long-term benefits for our customersUnderstanding of compliance environment in pharmaceutical promotionsUnderstanding of Pharma Guidelines and Sunshine ActAbility to analyze and interpret information and dataProject management skills and superior time management abilities with a focus on meeting deadlinesExcellent organizations skills and the ability to move quickly between tasks while ensuring qualityExcellent verbal and written communications skillsIndividual should be able to apply critical thinking process in order to optimize strategic initiatives and decision makingTakes initiative and able to successfully work in a fast-paced environment with multiple demandsTeam player with the ability to work independentlyRequires domestic travelMBA or advanced like degree would be a plusOncology experience preferredBenefitsAnnual bonus/incentive comp plansPotential long term incentive planDiscretionary awardsA full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave)Company OverviewThe mission of Taiho Oncology, Inc. is to improve the lives of patients with cancer, their families and their caregivers.
