[Remote] DIRECTOR OF PROGRAM OPERATIONS

The Director of Program Operations will oversee the operational, contractual, and financial health of service delivery contracts, providing leadership to ensure quality delivery and alignment with company goals.ResponsibilitiesLead the execution of assigned programs and projects, ensuring achievement of operational objectives, contract requirements, performance metrics, and mission outcomesProvide oversight of mission-critical operations across geographically dispersed teams and cross-functional organizationsEnsure consistent, high-quality delivery of services, products, and contract performance across all assigned programsMaintain regular engagement, guidance, and accountability with Program Managers, Project Managers, and delivery teamsManage program personnel, schedules, facilities, equipment, and operational resources to support successful contract executionTranslate strategic business objectives into actionable program plans and measurable operational outcomesManage program financial performance, including labor planning, funding utilization, revenue forecasting, cost control, and resource allocationOversee execution and compliance across multiple contract types, including CPFF, LOE, T&M, FFP, and other federal contracting vehiclesPartner with executive leadership on revenue planning, forecasting, and operational growth strategiesServe as the primary liaison to government customers, military leadership, subcontractors, industry partners, and internal stakeholdersBuild and maintain trusted customer relationships while supporting long-term growth, customer expansion, and mission successCollaborate with Business Development and Capture teams to identify opportunities, develop teaming strategies, support proposals, and position for future growthEnsure adherence to enterprise program management standards, governance frameworks, reporting requirements, and delivery best practicesMaintain compliance with FAR/DFARS, ITAR, NIST 800-171, CMMC 2.0, and other applicable regulatory and contractual requirementsPartner with corporate support organizations to ensure programs receive the staffing, infrastructure, security, compliance, IT, and facilities resources necessary for successful executionEnsure timely completion of contract deliverables, reporting requirements, documentation, audits, and customer commitmentsSupport compliance with quality, cybersecurity, CMMI, ISO, and customer-specific standards and requirementsEstablish and manage risk mitigation, escalation, and contingency planning processes across operational, technical, financial, staffing, and customer areasIdentify and evaluate opportunities for contract growth, recompetes, modernization initiatives, and expanded customer engagementDrive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, quality, performance, and customer outcomesCollaborate with technical and operational teams to integrate emerging technologies, automation, AI-enabled capabilities, and data-driven solutions into program deliveryLeverage dashboards, metrics, and analytics to improve operational visibility, decision-making, and program performanceDocument operational processes, workflows, lessons learned, and best practices to support organizational maturity and knowledge sharingLead, mentor, coach, and evaluate program personnel, fostering accountability, collaboration, and professional developmentSupport workforce planning, employee development, succession planning, and performance management initiativesPrepare and deliver executive-level reports, presentations, briefings, and strategic communications to senior government and company leadershipSkillsUS Citizenship requiredActive DoD/DoW Secret Security Clearance requiredBachelor's degree in a technical discipline, Business, Technology Management, or related fieldDemonstrated experience managing multi-function programs or projects within the DoW or Federal contracting environmentExperience managing Department of War (DoW) projects especially Department of NavyExperience leading and supporting teams of 15+ technical and non-technical personnelStrong understanding of government contract management, operational oversight, and contract complianceDemonstrated analytical, organizational, and time-management skillsExperience preparing reports, briefings, and executive-level presentationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to effectively communicate with executives, customers, partners, and internal stakeholdersExperience managing large-scale programs involving significant financial responsibility and operational assetsFamiliarity with digital transformation initiatives, automation tools, and
