[Remote] Director of Product Management

Nortek Data Center Cooling is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Product Management & Innovation to lead a team focused on the development and execution of the company’s data center cooling equipment product roadmap. This role will drive product strategy and innovation initiatives while collaborating with various teams to successfully launch new products that meet market needs.ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a team of product managers and engineers responsible for the strategy, development, and execution of the data center cooling product roadmapDefine and communicate product vision, market strategy, and innovation priorities aligned with company objectives and customer needsDrive the product lifecycle from concept through commercialization, including market analysis, business case development, product requirements, launch planning, and lifecycle managementCollaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, sales, and operations teams to ensure successful execution of product initiativesMonitor market trends, competitive activity, customer feedback, and emerging technologies within the data center and thermal management industriesIdentify and evaluate new technologies, partnerships, and innovation opportunities to strengthen Nortek’s competitive positionEstablish product roadmaps that balance customer requirements, technical feasibility, profitability, and resource availabilitySupport strategic customer engagement activities including product presentations, roadmap reviews, and technical discussionsDrive continuous improvement in product management processes, prioritization methodologies, and innovation executionDevelop and mentor team members while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovationSkillsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field required; MBA or advanced technical degree preferred10+ years of progressive experience in product management, engineering, or product development leadership rolesExperience within HVAC, thermal management, industrial equipment, or data center infrastructure industries strongly preferredDemonstrated success developing and executing product roadmaps for complex technical productsStrong business acumen with the ability to balance technical, commercial, and operational considerationsProven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and influencing organizational strategyExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environmentData center cooling or mission-critical infrastructure experienceExperience launching custom or configurable engineered productsFamiliarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems and stage-gate development processesExperience supporting innovation programs, technology scouting, or strategic partnershipsBenefitsNortek Data Center Cooling offers comprehensive compensation and benefits packages.Company OverviewNortek Data Center Cooling is a manufacturer of data center cooling technology.
