[Remote] Director of Product Management

MelodyArc is building the orchestration layer for enterprise service work, where rules, people, and AI collaborate to execute complex operations reliably. As the Director of Product Management, you will own the product roadmap and strategy, working closely with engineering and customers to transform enterprise needs into actionable plans and prototypes.ResponsibilitiesOwn the product roadmap and strategy for the organization; translate enterprise customer needs and market signals into a clear, sequenced plan aligned to company objectivesWear many hats to get technical delivery over the line — partner hands-on with engineering and the field team, unblock execution, fill gaps, and do whatever the moment requires to shipRapidly prototype new features based on observed client needs — turn field signals into mockups, specs, and working proofs of concept that validate value fast and de-risk the buildWrite crisp PRDs, define success metrics and KPIs, and prioritize ruthlessly by business value and technical feasibilityBalance platform investment against forward-deployed, customer-specific deliveryPartner across engineering, design, data, Sales, and customers; facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholdersPresent plans, progress, and outcomes to executive leadership; keep alignment across the organizationBuild and grow the product function over time, mentoring product managers as the team scalesSkills6-8+ years in product management, including 5+ years in technical product roles, with experience owning a product area or leading a product functionDemonstrated track record shipping enterprise software end-to-end, from concept through production launchStrong technical fluency: comfortable in code-adjacent work — reading data and SQL, and prototyping with low-code tools or light scripting to validate ideas without waiting on engineeringA proven 'many hats' operator mindset — willing to do the unglamorous, cross-functional work required to land deliveryStrong understanding of software development processes and the ability to make sound technical trade-offsExcellent written and verbal communication with the executive presence to drive decisions with senior stakeholdersExperience translating customer and field signals into product requirements and a prioritized planExperience with AI/ML, agentic AI, or data products; familiarity with workflow or orchestration platformsFamiliarity with NodeJS/TypeScript, cloud platforms (AWS), and modern prototyping toolsKnowledge of customer service operations, contact-center workflows, or enterprise business-process operations0-to-1 / founder / early-team product experience at a high-growth startupExperience supporting SOC 2 Type II or similar compliance frameworks in product developmentCompany OverviewMelodyArc is a technology startup that helps internet businesses provide innovative consumer experiences.
