[Remote] Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

They are seeking a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to serve as a finance business partner to various leadership teams, helping shape strategy and improve profitability.ResponsibilitiesServe as the financial co-pilot to Operations, Supply Chain, Merchandise, and People leadershipPartner with business leaders to develop strategic initiatives, evaluate investments, and improve performanceTranslate operational metrics into actionable financial insights and recommendationsLead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and scenario modeling effortsDevelop complex financial models supporting growth initiatives, capital investments, and strategic decision-makingPerform ROI analyses and business case development for key company initiativesAnalyze COGS, gross margins, supply chain performance, and operational variancesEvaluate logistics, fulfillment, procurement, and vendor-related spendingSupport outsourced production and shared-services operations through financial analysis and strategic guidancePartner with operational leaders to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost optimizationSupport cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and working capital managementOversee indirect procurement initiatives and vendor cost optimization strategiesProvide financial leadership around vendor negotiations and spending controlsLead and develop two direct reports across FP&A, treasury, and procurement functionsFoster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team environmentSkills8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, operational finance, or related fields2+ years of people management experienceStrong finance business partnering experience with operations or supply chain leadership teamsDeep understanding of COGS, margin analysis, standard costing, operational variance analysis, and supply chain financeExperience supporting manufacturing, retail, e-commerce, logistics, distribution, or similarly operational businessesAdvanced financial modeling and forecasting capabilitiesStrong executive communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience working in fast-paced, high-growth environmentsExperience supporting outsourced operations, BPO environments, shared services organizations, or offshore teamsTreasury and working capital management experienceProcurement or vendor management exposureNetSuite experienceExperience within a private equity-backed or transaction-oriented environmentBenefits10% BonusEquityThe company operates in a fully remote environmentMaintains a high-performance yet flexible cultureCompany OverviewTech recruiting firm that leverages AI & cutting-edge tech to find top talent and ensure successful matches for clients.
