This role involves managing direct and dealer sales into education accounts, developing strategic business plans, and enhancing relationships with customers and partners to drive revenue and market share growth.ResponsibilitiesThe primary measures of success are in the fulfillment of direct and dealer revenue quota in the Education marketCreate and plan annual and strategic business plans for the assigned channelOwnership of key customers in the assigned channel verticals and responsible for revenue plan and achievement of performance targets in revenue and market shareTo maintain, educate, and enhance relationship with customers, dealers, and external/internal salespeople in the US & Canada. Customer satisfaction and dealers satisfaction is requiredTo provide feedback on customer product needs, features, price points, functions to Sales and Product ManagementTo assist and provide input on marketing strategies and plan for the marketTo maintain and renew existing dealer account relationships/Assigned to determine the best possible sales channel be it direct, thru territory management or distributors bases on the market dynamicsSupport/lead direct and dealer teams in pricing, RFP, bid processes and quotingSupport/Manage education specific national, regional, and local contractsAssist in order processing, credit/collection process (i.e. ensure that customer orders are processed in a timely fashion and to the customer’s expectations)Work with the technical service department, logistics, sales operations, credit and other essential departments to ensure customer’s expectations are metAttend customer meetings, trade shows and other industry events to increase business and deepen relationshipsParticipate in relevant social media outlets and engage in channel partnerships including speaking engagements and other relevant expertise sharing and gathering positioning the company as an industry expert and leader in the assigned channelsMonitor market trends and competitor activity and contribute towards formulation of Product and Channel strategies to create and maintain differentiation from the competitionExecute accurate sales planning and forecastingSkillsFour-year college degree and/or equivalent experienceExcellent computer skills, including a high level of proficiency with MS OfficeStrong Salesforce/CRM experienceMinimum 5 years previous sales experience, fitness background, working with direct/dealer sales teams, or industry experience preferredPrior Trade Show experience preferredMust hold a valid driver's license and be insurableMust maintain a current insurance policyExcellent attention to minor details and ability to multitask, a mustExhibit exceptional verbal/written communication skills and a strong work ethicMust have exceptional organizational and time management skills and maintain a professional demeanor. Needs to maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasmAbility to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levelsAbility to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results driven, team-oriented environment.
