They are seeking a Director of Data Engineering & AI to lead client engagements, drive business development, and shape the future direction of their AI-enabled data engineering practice.ResponsibilitiesLeading enterprise data modernization and AI transformation engagements across multiple industriesDriving business development activities, including opportunity creation, proposal development, and client relationship managementArchitecting modern data platforms that support AI, machine learning, and Generative AI use casesAdvising clients on data governance, data quality, AI infrastructure readiness, and cloud transformation strategiesBuilding AI-enabled data engineering capabilities, frameworks, accelerators, and reusable assetsDriving innovation around emerging technologies including RAG, agentic workflows, vector databases, and AI orchestration frameworksLeading multidisciplinary consulting teams while maintaining strong executive-level client relationshipsManaging project delivery, financial performance, and overall engagement successSkills10+ years of client-facing consulting experience across technology, data, and analytics engagementsDeep expertise in Databricks, Snowflake, GCP, or similar modern data platform technologiesExperience designing and delivering enterprise-scale data platforms that support AI and machine learning workloadsStrong understanding of AI-focused data architecture, including real-time data pipelines, feature engineering, vector databases, semantic search, and unstructured data processingExperience delivering cloud-native data engineering solutions across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP environmentsFamiliarity with MLOps, LLMOps, data governance, observability, and enterprise AI operationalizationDemonstrated success developing client relationships and generating new consulting opportunitiesExperience leading complex consulting engagements and managing executive stakeholder relationshipsIndustry expertise within Healthcare, Banking, Insurance, Utilities, Private Equity, or related sectors is highly desirableBenefitsBonusESOPBenefitsUnlimited PTOComprehensive benefitsCompany OverviewWelcome to KDR Talent Solutions – home of the best talent solutions & jobs for the data, analytics and technology community KDR Talent Solutions is a specialist data, analytics and technology recruitment agency, whose teams focus on niche areas.
