The Director of Business Development will drive and close new business opportunities, generate revenue through strategic activities, and position the company as a design consultant for clients' innovative products.ResponsibilitiesDrive and close new business opportunities selling Fidus products and servicesGenerate revenue through prospecting, up-selling and cross-selling activities within a territory or accountLeverage existing partner relationships in the industry for introductions to new contactsDevelop in-depth knowledge of client’s business priorities, challenges and initiatives that can be translated into opportunities for us to win their businessPosition Fidus as an early-stage design consultant in the conception and delivery of our customer’s innovative productsSkillsMinimum 5 years of sales experience working with semiconductors, electronic design services, embedded software or similar industry experienceCompletion of a Bachelor's degree or the equivalentAbility to successfully demonstrate the required technical competency in electronic design services or similar industriesPrior experience selling services in both turnkey design and outsourced staffing, for high speed, high complexity designs is preferredBachelor's degree in Engineering or Business will be considered an assetBenefitsGenerous Benefits Package and Company CultureFull benefits packageHealthy work/life balanceCompany OverviewFidus Systems is specialize in leading-edge electronic product development.
