[Remote] Director of Business Development

The Director of Business Development will design and scale a partner channel, owning the full lifecycle from partner identification to long-term success, while collaborating with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to drive revenue through strategic alliances.ResponsibilitiesBuild and execute the channel partnership strategy targeting vendors in the foodservice ecosystemMap, prioritize, and manage a structured pipeline of prospective partnersLead outbound efforts: identify decision-makers, run outreach, and drive deals from first conversation to signed agreementRepresent Cut+Dry at industry events and partner meetings to generate pipelineOwn commercial negotiations for channel agreements (licensing, reseller, OEM, or similar)Structure deals that align partner incentives with Cut+Dry’s unit economicsCollaborate with Finance and leadership on pricing and commercial modelsPartner with Legal to finalize agreements, data terms, and IP protectionsDesign and run pilot programs with clear success criteria and evaluation gatesCoordinate cross-functional teams to ensure partners are enabled and supportedEvaluate performance and decide when to scale, iterate, or pivotBuild repeatable onboarding and launch processes for new partnersDevelop enablement, training, and certification programsCreate partner-facing GTM materials and playbooksRun regular business reviews to track pipeline, adoption, and performanceOwn channel performance metrics and partner-level outcomeTrack competitive activity and respond to win key partnershipsStay close to the foodservice tech ecosystem and emerging trendsProvide insights to Product and leadership to inform roadmap and strategySkills6–12+ years in business development, partnerships, or strategic alliancesExperience owning or leading partnerships end-to-end (sourcing → close → launch)Proven ability to close deals with senior stakeholders (VP to C-level)Experience structuring complex commercial partnerships (OEM, reseller, ISV, or similar)Strong commercial judgment (pricing, deal structure, unit economics)Ability to work cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, Legal, and SalesExcellent communication skills (written, verbal, and executive-facing)Willingness to travel (~25–35%)Experience in foodservice, distribution, supply chain, or vertical SaaSFamiliarity with ERP ecosystems or platform/app marketplace modelsExperience building partner programs or playbooks from scratchStartup or high-growth experienceCompany OverviewCut+Dry provides online ordering, product discovery, delivery tracking, and payment services.
