This role involves managing operations, ensuring efficiency and quality, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across multiple sites.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate all operations related activities in all the Legacy plantsCoordinate all departments, providing guidance and leadership to the organization according to plans, policies, strategy, legal requirements, and group governancePartner with Supply Chain leaders to ensure material availability, supplier quality, and cost-effective sourcing align with production requirementsCoordinate with the supply chain leaders to ensure efficiency and qualityWork closely with Sales and Product Management from the line of businessesDrive measurable waste elimination (Muda, Mura, Muri) through structured Lean/EOS tools, visual management, and daily accountability systemsProactively explores new programs for continuous improvements in alignment with our global EOS organization to improve processes to achieve the best quality, cost effectiveness and reliabilityIs fully aligned with our values and EOS principles and techniquesComply with legal requirements for Environment, Health & Safety, Maintenance of Infrastructure, and Sustainability liaising with all relevant managersOwn and drive improvement in key plant metrics across People (Safety, BLL, Engagement, Attendance), Customer (OTD, Quality, Claims), and Shareholder (Cost, Productivity, Inventory, Cash) categories using Plan vs Actual reporting and daily management systemsUtilize a daily reporting structure to provide good visualization for fast reaction and accountability for performanceAdjust operational plan with strategic growth planServe as the operations leader for the Legacy supply-side input to the SIOP process, ensuring capacity plans, production schedules, and inventory targets are aligned with demand and financial objectivesSets advanced industrial engineering priorities to optimize production equipmentParticipate in long-term business planning providing strategies and plans to the VP of OPS for reporting to the C-SuiteSets strategic breakthrough targets through the strategy deployment processWeekly and Monthly reporting to the VP of OPS Global Motive PowerActively engage the Plants with the Company’s ESG initiatives, including key objectives in the execution of Strategy DeploymentSkillsStrong leadership and excellent managerial skills; communication, negotiation, presentation, organization, planning, analytical skills, targets oriented, market awarenessAdvanced proficiency in process optimization methodologies (e.g. Lean Management)The individual should be highly motivated, passionate, and committed to professional standards and performance to drive for results with a proactive and hands-on approachDemonstrated ability to coach and develop leaders with a foundation of reliability and integrityProficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred), data analytics tools (Power BI preferred), and Microsoft Office SuiteBachelor's degree in engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field requiredMinimum 5 years of multi-plant operations leadership with full P&L accountabilityMinimum 10 years of experience in Operations, preferably Battery Manufacturing but not requiredMinimum 5 years of experience in continuous improvementEnglish requiredMaster's degree preferredSpanish proficiency is a strong plusPreferably operating within an Operating System based on advanced lean principlesCompany OverviewEnerSys is the global leader in stored energy solutions for industrial applications.
