[Remote] Director, HR Project Management

This role is responsible for establishing project management practices across HR and overseeing a small team to ensure alignment with strategic priorities and successful execution of transformational efforts.ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic leadership for the HR Project Management and Business Management function, establishing governance, processes, tools, and operating cadence aligned with enterprise standardsDirectly lead and develop a small team (two direct reports) responsible for HR business management disciplines, including risk management, audit coordination, budget oversight, contract management, and accounts payable (A/P)Ensure strong financial and operational management across HR, including planning, tracking, and optimization of budgets, vendor spend, and contractual commitmentsEstablish and maintain effective risk and control frameworks, including audit readiness, issue tracking, and remediationCreate visibility into HR operational performance through reporting, metrics, and insights that inform leadership decision-makingMaintain a high-level, enterprise view of HR initiatives; ensure prioritization, alignment, and execution of key programs in partnership with the Office of the CHROServe as project leader for large-scale, complex initiatives (e.g., HR transformations, integrations/M&A, and strategic priorities)Ensure risks, dependencies, and issues are actively managed with appropriate mitigation and escalation strategiesDrive cross-functional coordination and ensure effective resource allocation across initiativesDefine and implement standardized project management and business management practices across HR to drive consistency and efficiencyProvide training, coaching, and guidance to HR leaders and teams to strengthen adoption of project management disciplinesUse data and insights to continuously improve processes, enhance service delivery, and optimize performancePartner with senior HR and business leaders to align on priorities, manage trade-offs, and ensure successful execution of strategic initiativesServe as a trusted advisor on project, and operational matters, balancing strategic objectives with risk and compliance considerationsCommunicate progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to executive stakeholdersSet clear performance objectives and hold team members accountable for results and developmentBuild and develop a high-performing team with strong capabilities across project management and business operationsFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementSkills10–15+ years of experience in project management6+ years of people leadership experience preferredExperience project managing M&A integrations highly preferredDemonstrated success leading large-scale, complex initiatives in a matrixed organizationBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; advanced degree preferredPMI Project Management Professional (PMP) - Project Management Institute (PMI)6+ years of people leadership experienceExperience project managing M&A integrationsAdvanced degreeBenefitsThe total compensation for this position includes base salary or wages, and may include components such as additional compensation (cash or equity), discretionary bonuses, or commissions.This position is eligible for a benefits package that may include medical, dental, and vision; life insurance; critical illness insurance and accident insurance; disability benefits; retirement savings; paid time off (including vacation, holidays, and sick leave); and parental leave.Eligibility for benefits and specific offerings may vary based on position and employment status.Company OverviewFounded in 1962 and a public company since 1983, Raymond James Financial, Inc.
