[Remote] Director, Growth & Capture Strategy

BITS, Inc. is a growing software development company in the Washington DC area, seeking a Director, Growth & Capture Strategy for their federal projects. This senior leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth and capture excellence across federal contract vehicles and AI offerings, while collaborating closely with executive leadership and various teams. Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end capture strategy for new federal opportunities, including opportunity qualification, win themes, and competitive positioning • Own and oversee the federal pipeline, ensuring accuracy, prioritization, and alignment with corporate growth goals • Develop and guide win strategies and pricing alignment in coordination with executive leadership, finance, and delivery teams • Coordinate closely with Business Development, Proposal Management, and Technical Teams to ensure cohesive and competitive responses • Identify, evaluate, and manage teaming partners, joint ventures, and strategic alliances, including negotiation support and role definition • Support contracting and negotiation activities in collaboration with legal, contracts, and executive leadership • Identify and pursue on-ramp opportunities and task order strategies across IDIQs, GWACs, BPAs, and agency-specific vehicles • Maximize contract vehicle utilization by shaping opportunities and positioning the organization effectively • Track market trends, agency priorities, and competitive intelligence to inform growth strategy • Work closely with ThinkTrends leadership to align COTS and AI platform offerings, differentiated use cases and value propositions, and federal compliance and deployment strategies • Ensure AI and platform capabilities are effectively positioned as part of broader federal solutions • Support customer expansion within existing federal agencies and accounts • Shape long-term account growth strategies, including follow-on opportunities and cross-selling of services and products • Provide regular growth forecasts, pipeline reviews, and strategic insights to executive leadership Skills • Only US Citizens please apply • FEDERAL EXPERIENCE IS AN ADDED ADVANTAGE • Proven experience as a Federal Capture Leader, Growth Director, or BD Leader supporting federal civilian and/or defense agencies • Deep understanding of federal contract vehicles, including IDIQs, GWACs, BPAs, and agency-specific vehicles • Strong relationships with federal agencies, system integrators, and strategic partners • Demonstrated ability to lead complex capture efforts from strategy through award • Strategic thinker with strong execution and follow-through • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills • Experience aligning services offerings with COTS, SaaS, or AI platforms strongly preferred • Familiarity with the AI market landscape is strongly preferred Benefits • Performance-based bonus in addition to salary Company Overview • Bits AS er bank- og finansnæringens infrastruktur- og digitaliseringsselskap.
