The Global Account Management Director will be responsible for customer growth and retention, developing strategic account strategies, and ensuring customer satisfaction across Benchmark’s strategic and growth customers.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and own customer executive relationships as well as deep multi-level and multi-functional relationships at customer locationsThe Global Account Management Director understands key customer stakeholders and influencers and develops strategies to ensure effective relationships are in place for the partnershipDetermine key stakeholders and influencers for customer account sustainment and growthOrchestrates and develops customer account strategy to include strategic and technology roadmaps by working with Business Development, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure business growth and alignment with technology roadmaps, to deliver on overall account objectives and key customer initiativesBe the customer advocate and VOC on a strategic level to the internal organization serving as an escalation point, providing customer perception, strive towards customer satisfaction, problem resolution, and improve overall health of the customer relationshipUnderstanding the customer’s business model and translating customer roadmap to Benchmark strategiesCoordinate with sector leadership, site leadership globally, and corporate legal on the administration and negotiation process for contracts with customer, include Supply Agreements, Amendments/Addendums, and NDAsMonitor sector/customer P&L targets and ensure customer contract terms are metParticipate in site level Customer Quarterly Business ReviewsOrchestrate Executive Business ReviewsSkillsExperienced as an Account Manager or Business Development leadership role responsible for +$25M in business development with a track record of driving above industry average revenue and margin growthThe ideal candidate possesses +5 years of progressively advancing Business Development, Account Management and/or client centricPossesses excellent organizational, time management, team building, verbal, and written communication skillsStrong experience with technology or manufacturing sales with increasing levels of responsibilityExperienced defining, setting, and leading the execution of strategic account specific business development plans to achieve quarterly and annual employer financial objectivesDocumented track record of success and overachievementExperience working with senior leadership within a large business preferredRequirement of a bachelor's degree in engineering, sciences or business; MBA is preferredAbility to work in a highly matrixed environmentShould demonstrate solid financial acumenPrevious experience as a manager of a team or geographic areaExcellent communication and professional demeanor, working alongside business executives, both internally and externallySolid experience as a Strategic Account Manager or Global Account Manager strongly preferredBenefitsBonus Plan401(k)Paid Time OffHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceBenchmark complies with applicable state and local employee leave laws.Candidates applying for remote work based in Washington state, may obtain PTO eligibility for this position by emailing [email protected] OverviewBenchmark has been making successful products for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) since 1986.
