The Director, Financial Systems - Procure to Pay will lead the transformation of accounts payable and vendor management processes, designing automation strategies and partnering with Procurement and Finance leadership to drive improvements.ResponsibilitiesDesign and execute the AP automation strategy — RPA and Workato-driven workflows for invoice-to-accrual processingTransform vendor onboarding from 2-week manual process to 3-5 day automated workflowBuild spend analytics and procurement intelligence capabilities (dashboards, category analysis, vendor scorecards)Establish vendor master data governance, enrichment, and quality standardsOwn AP accrual controls, month-end accuracy, and audit readinessEvaluate and recommend AP automation tools (Coupa, Bill.com, or equivalent)Partner strategically with Procurement and Finance leadership on spend intelligence and supplier strategyManage a Payables Operations Manager who handles day-to-day AP workflows and vendor maintenanceDrive continuous improvement in payment timeliness, accuracy, and complianceRedesign vendor onboarding to 3-5 day automated workflow (from current 2-week process)Define and implement AP accrual automation workflowLaunch spend analytics dashboard with full category visibilityEstablish vendor master data governance frameworkAchieve 95%+ invoice-to-accrual automation rateReduce vendor onboarding to under 1 dayDeliver spend insights that actively inform procurement strategyAchieve 95%+ on-time payment SLA complianceSkills8+ years of experience in accounts payable, procurement transformation, or P2P process designProven experience designing and implementing AP automation programsStrong understanding of vendor management, spend analytics, and procurement operationsExperience with ERP AP modules (Oracle Fusion, SAP, or equivalent)Automation-first mindset — comfortable with RPA, workflow tools, and process redesignExcellent stakeholder management and ability to partner with Finance and Procurement leadershipExperience managing operational staff while maintaining strategic focusExperience evaluating or implementing AP automation platforms (Coupa, Bill.com, Tipalti)Background in finance transformation, Big 4 consulting, or shared services optimizationExperience with iPaaS platforms (Workato, MuleSoft) for AP workflow automationFinancial services or wealth management industry experienceFamiliarity with SOX compliance and internal controls for AP processesBenefitsHealth Benefits (Health/Dental/Vision)Paid Time Off (PTO) & Volunteer Time Off (VTO)401K – Company MatchAnnual Bonus IncentivesParental StipendTuition ReimbursementStudent Debt ProgramCharitable MatchWellness ProgramCompany OverviewEnvestnet provides integrated technology, intelligent data, and wealth solutions to registered investment advisors, banks, and dealers.
