[Remote] Director, Clinical Delivery Strategy

The Director, Clinical Delivery Strategy is a senior strategic and operational leader responsible for driving improvements across Clinical Delivery teams, identifying high-impact opportunities, and leading complex change initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality in clinical operations.ResponsibilitiesLead the Clinical Delivery strategy agenda for referral and funnel performance improvementAssess the end-to-end study funnel, including referral intake, outreach, scheduling, conversion, handoffs, and downstream operational performanceIdentify points of leakage, delay, variation, or friction and prioritize opportunities to improve referral conversion, patient progression, speed to contact, and overall throughputPartner with Data and Analytics to define the right KPIs, reporting, and performance review cadence needed to monitor operational health and measure initiative impactTranslate insights into clear business cases, action plans, and measurable improvement initiativesPartner closely with leadership to assess current‑state operating models, identifying opportunities to improve scale, consistency, throughput, and qualitySupport the evolution of staffing solutions as an enterprise backbone by strengthening referral management, centralized clinical workflows, cross‑study coordination, and operational governanceHelp define and refine how work flows between decentralized teams, sites, and sponsors to clarify ownership, handoffs, escalation paths, and service expectationsTranslate Clinical Delivery strategy into clear, sequenced initiatives that improve execution across teams rather than treating strategy as detached analysisLead structured process reviews to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, handoff failures, duplication of effort, and inconsistent executionDesign future-state workflows that improve efficiency, scalability, quality, and team experience while maintaining alignment with patient and study needsChallenge conventional ways of working and bring a continuous-improvement mindset to operational designOwn a portfolio of strategic and operational initiatives from discovery through launch and stabilizationDefine scope, milestones, owners, dependencies, success metrics, risks, and governance for key Clinical Delivery initiativesDrive cross-functional execution and maintain accountability across stakeholders, ensuring work progresses on time and in line with business objectivesPrepare materials and recommendations for senior leaders to support decision-making, prioritization, and resource alignmentMonitor initiative performance against hypotheses, adjusting approach as needed based on data and frontline feedbackHelp upskill the Member Services team and other Clinical Delivery stakeholders by identifying capability gaps and operational development needsPartner with frontline leaders to ensure training translates into durable behavior change and measurable operational improvementSkillsStrong strategic thinking with the ability to connect business priorities to operational executionDemonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from problem definition through implementationDeep program and project management capability, including planning, risk management, stakeholder alignment, and execution trackingStrong analytical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to identify root causes, synthesize findings, and translate analysis into actionable recommendationsExperience assessing workflows and designing scalable strategy, operations, consulting, program management, clinical operations, patient recruitment, or related functions3+ years of experience leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholdersEquivalent combinations of education and experience may be consideredExperience in strategy and operations, business operations, operational excellence, consulting, program management, or a related functionExperience working in clinical trials, life sciences, healthcare operations, patient recruitment, or related service-based operating modelsStrong understanding of call center, member services, patient access, referral management, patient recruitment, and/or clinical research operationsExperience with technology-enabled operational change, including workflow
