[Remote] Director, Business Development - U.S. Power

The Director, Business Development will drive business growth in the U.S. power generation, power networks, and nuclear markets by developing tailored solutions and building strong client relationships.ResponsibilitiesDrive profitable revenue growth by developing new business across assigned U.S. power, networks, and nuclear accountsOwn and grow key customer accounts, acting as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholdersIdentify, qualify, and pursue new client opportunities within targeted utility, IPP, and quasi public marketsLead sales pursuits end to end, including strategy, win plans, value propositions, and commercial positioningDevelop and execute account plans that drive sustained pipeline and contract awardsPartner with regional leadership and delivery teams to shape growth strategies and bring full service solutions to clientsLead pricing strategy, proposal development, and bid governance, ensuring competitive and compliant submissionsNegotiate commercial terms and contracts in collaboration with legal, risk, and operations teamsMaintain active client engagement during delivery to ensure commitments are met and repeat business is securedRepresent the company externally at industry events, conferences, and forums to strengthen market presence and relationshipsSkillsA minimum of 10+ years' experience in gas power networks, nuclear or associated industriesEstablished credibility with customers and key stakeholders within target utilities including business development experienceExperience with/background of asset life cycle, in the gas power networks and nuclear marketTrack record of developing and implementing complex business strategyExperience of successfully partnering with, and influencing client executives, senior management, and other key industry stakeholdersMust possess a high level of commercial acumen, with an ability to articulate benefits in the solutions created at a variety of levels within the client organizationsExperience in both sales and projects and/or operations essentialAlignment with Worley's values, drivers, and commitment to customer serviceStrategic thinker who can develop and implement complex pursuit plansProactively manage and collaborate across a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural organizationAble and willing to travel throughout region, approximately 25%-50%Future focused and embracer of new technologies and bespoke solutions to address sustainability, the energy transition, digital realm and flexible commercial models of our clientsBachelor's degree from a four-year college or universityPower utilities industry and/or nuclear engineering experience preferredCompany OverviewWorley is a leading global provider of professional project and asset services in the energy, chemicals and resources sectors.
