The Business Development Director is responsible for achieving sales goals through strategic marketing and sales initiatives, while maintaining relationships with key decision-makers in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.ResponsibilitiesSuccessfully prospects and sells solutions and services via a consultative selling approach within assigned global bio pharm/CRO clientsCoordinates with leaders and SMEs across the organization to create compelling and goal-driven solutions for clients and prospects, and ensures tactical and strategic company goals are achievedDevelops account strategies for assigned accounts, and prepares client presentations to the standards of the companyManages client meeting schedules to achieve target performanceUtilize cross selling techniques to proactively suggest additional WCG offeringsExpected client engagement is face-to-face with expectations of travelAnalyzes our competitors’ strengths and weaknessesWorks within a vigorous metrics-driven environmentUtilizes Salesforce.com to monitor, analyze, and communicate sales data to the management teamCoordinates with the legal team in managing contract negotiationsProvides market feedback to internal teams regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generates product development ideasOther duties as assigned by supervisor.
