[Remote] Director, Business Development - Commercial Pharmaceuticals

They are seeking a dynamic Director of Business Development to drive sales growth of their Patient Services solutions, requiring extensive experience in selling technology to the commercial pharmaceutical industry.ResponsibilitiesGenerate, pursue and close opportunities focusing on key decision-makers from patient services, market access, brand, and marketing teamsConduct engaging presentations and product demonstrations, highlighting the benefits and value of our solutions geared to the specific functional needs of our clientsNegotiate contracts and pricing agreements to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfactionWork closely with cross-functional teams, specifically marketing, to develop brand-specific presentations and proposalsServe as a data denizen, intentionally updating, leveraging, and proactively evolving our CRM system (Hubspot) and related AI toolsDeveloping a robust understanding of our solutions and how they impact our client’s needs and metricsSkillsGrounded experience selling into pharma, specifically patient services and access teams, is a MUST haveStrong understanding of the HCP-related technology providers, market dynamics, and industry trendsSuccessful sales experience servicing commercial pharmaceutical needs; topical management consulting backgrounds are also looked on kindly; SaaS focus is nice to have but not mandatory; open to folks who have worked for manufacturers as wellAvailable and yearn for in-person meetingsAdept at and committed to embracing CRM systems (Hubspot)Generative AI exposure is required; Agentic AI exposure is a big plusExperience working with agencies is a plusStartup/early stage experience a big plusPreferred Bachelor's degree; MBA is a plusBenefits401(k) w/matchingAll kinds of insurance (including matching HSA and pets!)Commute from your kitchenOpen PTO (which leaders use!)Remote stipendYearly education budgetCompany OverviewMedical Practice Support It was founded in 2021, and is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, with a workforce of 11-50 employees.
