The Director of Biotech Business Development will drive growth in the biotech market by managing customer relationships, executing sales strategies, and achieving revenue targets for clinical technology solutions.ResponsibilitiesExecute sales strategies for assigned biotech accounts and territories, delivering against business objectives and financial targets for clinical technology solutionsDevelop and implement territory-specific sales plans aligned with annual goals, providing regular progress updates to senior leadershipLead end-to-end sales processes for Signant Health's clinical technology portfolio, serving as the primary customer contact and coordinating closely with internal technical teamsPartner with cross-functional teams including Solutions Architects, Proposals, Technical Solutions, and Operations to develop compelling, client-specific proposalsBuild, manage, and grow strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers across the biotech sectorManage and report on sales pipeline activity, ensuring accurate forecasting and achievement of individual sales targets in line with the company's compensation planCollaborate internally to align with customer initiatives and maximize commercial opportunitiesRepresent Signant Health at industry conferences, meetings, and events to increase brand awareness and generate new business leadsMake sound, data-driven decisions within the context of business priorities and customer needs, and influence outcomes through consultative, value-driven conversations with both clients and internal stakeholdersWork effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams to achieve shared goalsSupport additional projects and responsibilities as required to meet evolving business needsSkillsProven success in B2B sales, with experience selling technical or complex solutions to pharmaceutical or biotech organizationsStrong understanding of clinical research technologies and eClinical solutionsExperience contributing to proposal development and competitive bid processesExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to stakeholders at multiple levelsDemonstrated ability to build and execute territory sales strategiesResults-driven mindset with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targetsExperience within the clinical research or life sciences industryStrong pipeline management and forecasting capabilitiesHighly collaborative, with the ability to work effectively across functionsStrong business acumen, analytical skills, and a growth-oriented mindsetBachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related technical disciplineExperience selling eClinical solutions within pharmaceutical or CRO environmentsExperience working in a matrixed or global organizationFamiliarity with Salesforce.com or similar CRM platformsProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsCompany OverviewSignant Health focuses on software solutions for remote and site-based eCOA, eConsent, IRT, supply chain management, and data analytics.
