The Director of ABM & Field Marketing will lead strategic marketing efforts, focusing on enterprise accounts and driving revenue growth through tailored marketing strategies and executive engagement programs.ResponsibilitiesOwn and evolve Samsara’s 1:1 ABM strategy for top enterprise accountsLead biweekly ABM account strategy sessions with Enterprise SalesDevelop tailored marketing strategies that accelerate deal progression and increase win ratesAlign marketing investment to enterprise pipeline priorities and forecast visibilityDrive measurable impact on net-new enterprise acquisition and expansion revenueOversee planning and execution of high-touch executive programs, including EBCs, VIP hospitality events, strategic dinners, and exclusive field experiencesEnsure executive programs are strategically tied to deal advancement and account plans, not standalone eventsDefine and implement a clear long-term ABM & Field Marketing roadmapEvolve the team from generalist execution to defined specialization across ABM and Field Marketing disciplinesEstablish prioritization frameworks, operational rigor, and scalable processesDrive year-over-year program maturity, optimization, and performance improvementAct as the primary marketing liaison to Enterprise Sales leadership.Bring structure and clarity in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environmentsBuild credibility with senior sales leaders and operate comfortably at the executive levelOwn enterprise ABM and field marketing pipeline targetsEvaluate ROI of 1:1 programs and executive eventsUse pipeline metrics, sales cycle insights, and forecasting data to inform investment decisionsChampion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new officesHire, develop and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high performing teamSkills10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, with significant experience in Enterprise ABM5+ years of experience leading and scaling high-performing teamsDemonstrated experience building or leading a true 1:1 ABM program (not solely scaled digital ABM)Strong partnership experience with Enterprise Sales organizationsProven ability to evolve a team from execution-oriented to strategically driven with clear specialization and structureDeep fluency in enterprise pipeline metrics, forecasting, and complex sales cyclesStrong executive communication skills and cross-functional influenceExperience in high-growth B2B SaaS environments owning both strategic vision and execution in a scaling organizationTrack record of driving impact on multimillion-dollar enterprise dealsBenefitsPerformance-based bonus/variable payEquity (for eligible roles) in a high-growth public companyA flexible, employee-led remote modelA professional development stipendComprehensive health and parental leave plansFlexible working model that caters to the diverse needs of our teamsOffices are open for those who prefer to work in-personSupport remote work where it aligns with our operational requirementsReasonable accommodations throughout the recruiting process for qualified persons with disabilitiesCompany OverviewSamsara is digitizing the world of physical operations.
