[Remote] Dillon Product Manager

The Dillon Product Manager will drive the development and support of the Dillon product portfolio while collaborating with marketing and engineering teams to enhance product offerings and provide technical support to sales and end users.ResponsibilitiesKeep current on industry/market trends and regulatory requirements for Dillon applicationsRemain aware of the competitive and market landscape to understand customersâ alternative solutions and Dillonâs relative positioningInteract with end users and channel partners to comprehend, articulate, and leverage customer applications and values to drive creation of differentiated productsSupport the design and development of new products within the Dillon Product PortfolioPerform product testing, gathering of relevant experimental data, and data analysis in support of product upgrades and new product developmentArticulate Dillonâs value proposition and product capabilities to train sales and support teams as appropriate, including collaboration in the development of sales tools and marketing collateralProvide product training and technical support to internal teams, sales channel, and end usersAssist in attending tradeshows in conjunction with the Dillon direct sales teamContribute to examining potential viability of new applications with Dillonâs product portfolioLog incoming communications and activities related to technical support for analysis to drive product, process, and collateral improvementsSkillsAssociate's degree and/or equivalent ITW experience2+ years in Product Management, Product Development, Technical Support, Engineering, or MarketingMust be proactive and display a high level of initiativeDemonstrated customer service skillsProficient with Microsoft Office Products to include Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPointAbility to perform product demonstrations, effectively translating features into valuesAbility to adapt to changing circumstances, remain calm in stressful situations, and adjust plans to meet changing needsAbility to communicate effectively verbally and in writingDemonstrated ability to lead basic technical training seminarsRequires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and rapport with the distribution channel, business units, and internal sales teamsMust have valid passport for international travel or ability to obtain oneBS/BA in Engineering or other technical backgroundExperience in Customer Service / Technical Support / Account ManagementDiagnostic logic developmentExperience in technical positionStrong mechanical, software, or electrical knowledgeExperience in the design and development phase of new productsExperience in bringing new products to marketExperience with ITW business and productsCompany OverviewAvery Weigh-Tronix is one of the worldâs largest manufacturers and suppliers of weighing equipment, measurement devices, and global solutions.
