They are seeking a Workday Professional to manage and lead Workday-related projects, ensuring successful implementation and improvement of business operations for clients.ResponsibilitiesManage and lead Connor Group systems & Workday related projects, including new implementations, enhancements, integrations, and other special projectsEnsure projects’ accomplishment of desired scope, timeline and quality and follow Connor Group defined best practices and approachesProject manage Workday projects across all phases, including scoping, planning, resource scheduling, risk management, stakeholder management and cross functional collaborationDemonstrate good functional knowledge of Workday and ability to analyze the effectiveness of business operations and identify opportunities for improvementDrive process improvement initiatives, by working with the client and Connor Group teams to articulate the problem statement, analyze processes/data, identify solutions and alternatives and coordinate alignmentProvide on-the-job training, coaching, and mentoring to project team membersParticipate in client business development activities including client meetings, preparation of proposals, statements of work and development of project estimatesDeep level of product knowledge and experience across multiple related functional areasHas a high level 'big picture' understanding of the project in relation to scope, timeline, requirements, client expectationsUnderstands the 'Why?' i.e. Comprehends client's business and industry trends and how the implementation strategically fits into their long-term goalsAccountable for cross-functional solution design and documentation - understands product touchpoints and pieces together individual components to form a complete solutionCapable of troubleshooting in real time and effectively brainstormed solutionsActs as an escalation point and provides direction to the client and internal project team on areas of focus/ keeps team on trackProvides estimates and assumptions for Change OrdersSenior Manager/Director: Mentors other consultants to facilitate their growth and developmentSenior Manager/Director: Partners with EM, and other architects to drive innovative solutions and ensure a unified client experienceSkillsBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Accounting, or the equivalentWorkday certification, Expertise in Human Capital Management (HCM) or Financials processes5+ years of direct Workday implementation, upgrade, and support experienceIn depth knowledge of Workday cloud platform, integration capabilities, data migration conversion toolsStrong knowledge of key financial processes such as Quote to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, etcVery strong project management capabilities and experienceExcellent interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team buildingSelf-motivated with a willingness to learn, a strong sense of accountability and a proven track record of delivering resultsWillingness to travel up to 25%, including international travelCPA and/or Master's degreeWorkday certificationImplementation experience with Workday Multi-book, Inventory, Advanced Revenue ManagementExposure to ASC-606 (revenue recognition)BenefitsHealth insurance packagesWellness programsOne-on-one coaching programCareer development opportunitiesCompany OverviewConnor Group is a professional services firm helping ambitious companies push through their finance, accounting, and technology obstacles.
