This role requires a technical leader who can drive results and collaborate across teams to deliver complex solutions aligned with business outcomes.ResponsibilitiesLead the design and delivery of Provider facing scalable, high-impact software solutions supporting enterprise healthcare platformsServe as a technical leader and hands-on contributor, driving results, engineering excellence, and cross-team execution across critical initiativesSkillsMinimum of 7+ years of software engineering experience delivering enterprise-scale, full-stack applications across industries with demonstrated practical experience in healthcare, preferably working with Provider focused initiativesProven expertise in full-stack development, including: Backend: Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Node.js; Frontend: React, Angular, TypeScript-based frameworks; API integration and design using REST, GraphQL, and microservices-based architecture5+ years of experience designing and implementing scalable distributed systems and microservices architectures, including modernization of legacy applications into cloud-native services3+ years of experience with the ability to design and implement secure, high-availability application architectures3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, including tools such as Jenkins, Git workflows, and infrastructure-as-code for automated deployments3+ years of experience with leading complex technical initiatives and cross-functional collaboration, including translating business requirements into scalable technical solutionsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field or equivalent practical experienceExperience mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, and driving engineering best practices and standards across teamsStrong proficiency in database design and data management, including relational and NoSQL technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, MongoDB)Experience working in Agile environments, contributing to sprint planning, design discussions, and iterative delivery of high-quality softwareHands-on exposure to event-driven architecture and messaging systems (e.g., SNS, SQS) for real-time, distributed processingExposure to accessibility standards (WCAG) and building inclusive, compliant user experiencesExcellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills, with the ability to operate independently and influence across teamsBenefitsThis position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.This full‑time position is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the physical, emotional, and financial well‑being of colleagues and their families.The benefits for this position include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, retirement savings options, wellness programs, and other resources, based on eligibility.Company OverviewCVS Health is a health solutions company that provides an integrated healthcare services to its members.
