[Remote] Digital Product Manager - Lead Consultant

This role involves leading the Infrastructure Monitoring product team to enhance observability solutions, ensuring system reliability and an improved customer experience.ResponsibilitiesDefine and drive the product vision and roadmap for enterprise-wide observability solutions (metrics, logs, traces, insights)Lead the Infrastructure Monitoring product team, delivering scalable and resilient observability capabilities across cloud and on-prem environmentsPartner with engineering, architecture, and platform teams to design and implement modern observability tooling and workflowsEstablish KPIs and use analytics to measure product performance, service reliability, and business valueGather user feedback, conduct market research, and translate insights into actionable product enhancementsPrioritize and manage the product backlog, writing and grooming user stories with engineering teamsEngage and influence stakeholdersâincluding senior leadershipâto align product strategy with organizational objectivesMentor early career product managers and optimize Agile product ceremonies for efficiencyManage vendor relationships to ensure product goals, value delivery, and aligned roadmap outcomesCommunicate product progress, risks, and outcomes to internal and external partnersSkillsMinimum of 4 years' experience in Product Management roles (e.g., Product Manager, Technical Product Manager) within a largescale enterprise or technology organizationMinimum 2 years delivering products in Observability, Site Reliability Engineering, infrastructure operations, or platform engineering domainsDirect experience managing end-to-end product lifecycle including roadmap creation, backlog prioritization, and Agile deliveryProven ability to work with and deliver outcomes using observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Dynatrace, New Relic, Netcool, ThousandEyes, SevOne, OpenTelemetry, or equivalentDemonstrated experience collaborating with engineering, architecture, and senior stakeholders to deliver technical products with measurable impactExperience with budget and Resource Management with regards to vendor relationshipsExperience leading products in Network, Compute, End User Computing, Infrastructure, or Platform-as-a-Service domainsPrior exposure to SRE practices, incident management, or initiatives focused on reducing MTTR using observability insightsExperience implementing or using AIOps, ML-driven insights, or AI-driven anomaly detection in observability platformsHands-on familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP), automation, or Infrastructure-as-Code within product deliveryExperience mentoring or coaching junior product managers or contributing to product practice improvement within a tech organizationPreferred familiarity with AI tools and application of AI within observabilityBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related fieldCompany OverviewAllstate is an insurance company that offers car, home, and life insurance services.
