The Digital Media Strategist will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing digital media campaigns across various channels, ensuring alignment with client goals and maximizing ROI.ResponsibilitiesExecute day-to-day media buying activities, including campaign setup, audience targeting, keyword research, budget management, bid adjustments, testing, and optimization across digital advertising platformsCreate and implement strategies for digital media campaigns across search (SEM), display advertising, social media, and video marketing channelsAllocate and manage budgets for various campaigns, optimizing spend to maximize ROIApply financial acumen to budgeting, projections, revenue metrics, and assist with media billingAnalyze market data to identify target audiences, ensuring campaigns are tailored to reach the right peopleMonitor, evaluate, and report on campaign performance using platform metrics and analytics tools, making data-driven decisions to improve results and drive strategy forwardIdentify opportunities for innovation, experimentation, and growth within digital campaignsManage internal and external client expectations while ensuring deliverables and deadlines are metCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align media strategy with broader marketing and business goalsStay current on digital media trends, platform updates, industry developments, and best practicesContribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and systemsSkillsBachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, or related fieldMinimum of 3 years of relevant experience in digital marketing strategy across digital mediaAgency or client-side digital marketing experience required; agency experience preferredExperience managing digital campaigns across multiple media channelsStrong understanding of campaign budgeting, projections, and revenue metricsHands-on experience managing campaigns within platforms like Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, DV360, The Trade Desk, or similar digital advertising platformsProficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and project management platforms like monday.com or similar toolsAbility to analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendationsStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyExcellent communication, facilitation, and collaboration skillsCurious and creative mindset with a passion for marketing, culture, and emerging trendsAbility to think strategically across the full marketing spectrum, with a strong understanding of full-funnel marketing and the role paid media plays throughout the customer journeyProactive problem-solving skills and a willingness to take initiativeGrowth-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and improvementAbility to work effectively in a remote environment, demonstrating strong self-management, communication, and collaboration skillsReliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace suitable for remote workCo-op experience is a plusCompany OverviewRoot+Beta is a marketing agency that offers demand generation and storytelling services.
