[Remote] Digital Infrastructure - Senior Consultant

They are seeking a Senior Consultant within their Digital Infrastructure Practice to implement and support complex network and security solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and security.ResponsibilitiesImplement, migrate, and support network and security solutions across customer environmentsProvide design assistance and validation for network and security architectures in collaboration with internal architects and client stakeholdersServe as a technical SME for next-generation firewall platformsPerform network assessments and provide implementation-focused recommendationsExecute complex migrations (e.g., firewall replacements, SD-WAN transitions, data center modernization)Develop and maintain technical documentation including implementation guides, as-built documentation, and runbooksCollaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure successful project deliveryProvide knowledge transfer and mentorship to customers and internal teamsTroubleshoot complex network and security issues across hybrid environments (on-prem, cloud, remote users)Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in networking and cybersecuritySkills7+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on network security and enterprise networkingProven experience in a consulting or professional services role (customer-facing project delivery)Hands-on experience with: Wireless, Route/Switch, Cisco ISE, Cisco Firewall Experience, Aruba Clearpass, Juniper firewalls (SRX Series)Strong understanding of: Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VRFs), VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN), Network segmentation and zero trust architecturesAbility to create clear and professional technical documentationStrong troubleshooting and analytical skillsPrior experience working for a VAR, MSP, or consulting organizationExcellent communication and client engagement skillsIndustry certifications such as Cisco CCNP and/or CCIEJuniper Firewalls and Switches, a plusExperience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and cloud networkingFamiliarity with identity integrations (Azure AD, SAML, MFA) in SASE environmentsExperience deploying or supporting SDWAN and SASE SolutionsExperience with automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, APIs)Company OverviewPellera Technologies is an information technology company that offers cloud, cybersecurity, digital infrastructure, and managed services.
