[Remote] Digital Account Executive - Public Sector

The Digital Account Executive is responsible for working with state and local agencies to promote Salesforce's Marketing technology solutions, generating sales opportunities and ensuring customer satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesBe the subject matter expert on how local agencies leverage Salesforce Marketing solutions within their enterpriseEmpower and enable the broader Account Team on all Salesforce Marketing technologyCollaborate with Account and Territory teams to identify target accountsCreate and drive revenue within a specified region and/or list of named accountsGenerate business opportunities through networking, cold-calling, and prospecting into current Salesforce customersOwn the full sales cycle for the Salesforce Marketing technology stack — including lead generation, deal strategy, pricing and packaging, and deal closureMeet and exceed all quarterly and annual sales quotasDrive brand awareness, campaigns, and lead generation via networking and industry associationsMaintain accurate account and opportunity forecastingEnsure 100% customer satisfaction and retentionDevelop key customer stakeholder relationships and drive customer satisfaction at assigned accountsAssist with the development and execution of overall long-term account strategy, aligned to customer business objectivesCoordinate internal resources to meet customer business needsShare value proposition for existing and/or new customersDrive growth within new and existing assigned accountsSkills5+ years of outside enterprise software sales experienceProven track record as a team player in a Co-Prime/Overlay Sales roleDigital Marketing sales experience and familiarity with relevant marketing technology is requiredStrong preference for prior experience with the full Salesforce Marketing Technology Stack — Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Social Studio, and Salesforce.comExperience selling enterprise SaaS, CRM, digital engagement, or cloud technologiesAbility to navigate complex organizational structures and multi-stakeholder sales cyclesProven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentStrong executive presence and consultative selling skillsAbility to deliver high-level product demonstrations and be considered the product expert in the sales cycleComfortable and effective via online meetings, virtual demos, and conference callsPassion for helping state and local government agencies modernize constituent and citizen experiencesAbility to travel as neededExperience working within or selling into Public Sector organizations is strongly preferredExperience selling at the C-suite level (CMO, CDO, etc.) is a plusBenefitsCertain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.Salesforce offers a variety of benefits to help you live well including: time off programs, medical, dental, vision, mental health support, paid parental leave, life and disability insurance, 401(k), and an employee stock purchasing program.Company OverviewSalesforce is a cloud-based software company that provides customer relationship management software and applications.
