[Remote] DevOps Engineer (New York)

They are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their global team, focusing on improving automation, optimizing production environments, and empowering development teams.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Champion a DevOps mindset: Identify friction points and implement scalable automation to improve reliability, delivery speed, and developer experience
ā¢ Operate and optimize production environments: Use infrastructure as code and modern observability tools to ensure performance and reliability
ā¢ Empower development teams: Build intuitive internal tools and foster a culture of self-service within R&D
ā¢ Lead deployments end-to-end: From architecture to implementation, manage deployments across multiple regions and environments
ā¢ Collaborate globally: Work closely with an Israel-based DevOps team, maintaining strong communication and ownership despite time zone differences
Skills
ā¢ 4+ years as a DevOps, SRE, or Production Engineer
ā¢ Hands-on experience with production workloads on GCP or AWS
ā¢ Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture
ā¢ Deep familiarity with systems like GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and Argo Rollouts
ā¢ Experience with Terraform, Terragrunt, or similar tools
ā¢ Skills in Bash, Python, or Go
ā¢ Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and VictoriaMetrics
ā¢ Comfortable working autonomously, managing priorities, and adjusting to evolving collaboration patterns across time zones
ā¢ Collaborative, curious, and technically driven - able to contribute meaningfully to a distributed, high-performing team
