They are seeking a DevOps Engineer III who will focus on automation and metrics to develop solutions that improve operational efficiencies, working closely with software developers and system engineers.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the design and implementation of Infrastructure as Code, automated environment provisioning, and automated deployment and monitoring of multiple environmentsPair with development and QA teams to enable a continuous integration environment that sustains high productivity levels and emphasizes defect prevention techniquesParticipate in a 24/7 on-call rotationAutomate and optimize processes to reduce toil and perform sensitive tasks safely and reliably in secure environmentsWork with cross-functional business teams to understand requirements and other performance SLOs and SLAsThoroughly document operational practices and proceduresTroubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test and production environmentsIdentify gaps in processes and help to close themParticipate in other projects and duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience5+ years of relevant professional experience working in DevOps or a related fieldExperience with containers, Kubernetes, and cloud-based environmentsAbility to write code, including automation scripting and diagnostics/debugging supportExperience building and maintaining alerting, monitoring, and metrics systems (like New Relic, Zenoss, Sensu, Nagios, Graphite, Collectd, Ganglia, Datadog or similar)Experience with continuous integration, testing, and deployment pipelines (like Jenkins, Bamboo CI, Docker or similar)Experience working with tools and workflows that support the software development lifecycle (like Git, SVN and Jira)Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, and experience working with distributed teamsExperience working with Microsoft Azure cloud environmentsBenefitsEnjoy an inclusive [benefits program](https://www.teladochealth.com/careers/benefits) centered around you and your family, with tailored programs that address your unique needs.Company OverviewOur team from across Canada is proudly serving over 9 Million Canadians from coast to coast to coast.
