Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Base-2 Solutions is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support the USSOUTHCOM J26 ENHANCED DOMAIN AWARENESS task order. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure management, and ensuring scalable deployments across cloud and on-premises environments.ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelinesAutomate infrastructure managementEnsure scalable deployments across cloud and on-premises environmentsManage container orchestration using Kubernetes and DockerUtilize infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and AnsibleEmploy continuous integration tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or AWS CodePipelineMaintain strong understanding of cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and GCPApply security best practicesUse monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stackSkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field OR a minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience in DevOps engineeringDemonstrated experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clustersExperience automating cloud infrastructureExperience implementing secure, high-availability CI/CD pipelinesExperience with microservices architectureExperience with service mesh technologies such as Istio and LinkerdExperience with observability toolsCertified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – ProfessionalMicrosoft Certified: DevOps Engineer ExpertCompany OverviewBase-2 Solutions is a technology company that provides technical solutions for software engineering, cyber security, and cloud computing.
