[Remote] DevOps Engineer

They are seeking a DevOps Engineer to build, scale, and maintain their cloud-native infrastructure while ensuring compliance and reliability across their systems.ResponsibilitiesBuild and manage AWS and EKS infrastructure via Terraform with an emphasis on scalability and maintainabilityManage and scale our Kubernetes (EKS) clusters for high availability and fault toleranceMaintain, provision, and regularly upgrade various AWS components (RDS, EKS, etc.)Oversee the organization’s Gitlab infrastructure and implement high standardsBuild robust CI/CD pipelines and streamline application deployment processesCollaborate with security and legal teams to ensure future compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR)Monitor infrastructure health and performance using observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Wiz, CloudWatch)Implement automated security controls and proactive incident response mechanismsParticipate in architecture reviews, capacity planning, and disaster recovery strategy developmentProvide mentorship to junior DevOps and SRE team membersLead incident response and root cause analysis for infrastructure-related issuesOther duties as assignedSkills2+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering rolesExpert-level experience with AWS services, especially in multi-region deploymentsStrong proficiency in Terraform, with a track record of managing complex IaC projectsDeep understanding of Kubernetes architecture, associated tools (kubectl, helm, prometheus, k9s, etc.), and operational practicesExperience working in compliance-heavy environments and collaborating with legal and security teamsProficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.)Strong background in monitoring, alerting, and logging systemsFamiliarity with container security, IAM policies, VPC design, and cloud networkingBasic knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchainsGeneral passion and knowledge of fintech and cryptocurrencyBenefitsCompetitive salariesPerformance-based incentivesCompetitive benefits for full-time employeesCompany OverviewCoinFlip is a bitcoin ATM network that offers a way to buy and sell cryptocurrencies with cash.
