Diligent Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain modern cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines supporting mission-critical applications in AWS. The role involves creating new deployment pipelines, enhancing existing CI/CD processes, and driving cloud modernization initiatives.ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure within AWS environmentsArchitect, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Amazon ECS and AWS FargateDevelop, optimize, and support serverless solutions utilizing AWS Lambda and related AWS servicesBuild, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated application deployment and infrastructure deliveryTroubleshoot and improve existing deployment pipelines, release processes, and automation workflowsLead and support migration efforts from traditional EC2-based environments to ECS/Fargate containerized architecturesImplement Blue/Green deployment strategies to minimize downtime and deployment riskDevelop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDKMonitor system performance, reliability, security, and scalability across cloud environmentsCollaborate with software developers, architects, and security teams to implement DevSecOps best practicesConfigure and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions using AWS-native and third-party toolsSupport incident response, root cause analysis, and production issue resolutionImplement container security, vulnerability management, and cloud security best practicesCreate technical documentation, operational runbooks, and deployment proceduresContinuously evaluate and recommend improvements to cloud architecture, automation, and deployment processesSkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering experienceStrong hands-on experience with AWS cloud servicesExperience deploying and managing applications on Amazon ECS and AWS FargateExperience designing and supporting serverless architectures using AWS LambdaDemonstrated experience migrating workloads from EC2 environments to containerized ECS/Fargate platformsExperience implementing and managing Blue/Green deployment strategiesStrong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or AWS CodePipelineExperience with Docker and containerization technologiesExperience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK)Proficiency with source control systems such as GitExperience with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, or GrafanaStrong understanding of networking, security, IAM, VPCs, load balancing, and cloud architecture principlesExperience supporting production environments and troubleshooting complex cloud infrastructure issuesStrong written and verbal communication skillsCompany OverviewDiligent Solutions is dedicated to empowering your business success through a unique, integrated approach that emphasizes people, process, and technology.
