[Remote] DevOps Engineer

This role is essential for ensuring secure and scalable API delivery while supporting operational readiness for FHIR integrations and AI-facing services.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain GCP infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and runtime environments for backend services and APIsOwn and manage CI/CD processes, environment promotion, secrets management, infrastructure automation, and release reliabilityImplement comprehensive observability solutions including logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, and operational dashboardsSupport scalable hosting architectures for APIs, FHIR services, and MCP-enabled components using GCP-native servicesManage IAM, network controls, security policies, and platform guardrails in collaboration with engineering leadershipDrive improvements in reliability, deployment speed, recovery readiness, and production support practicesSkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)2-4 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or platform engineering rolesStrong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services including Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, Cloud Build, Artifact Registry, IAM, VPC, logging, and monitoringProven expertise with infrastructure as code, CI/CD automation, containerized workloads, and production operationsSolid understanding of API gateways, authentication mechanisms, secret management, and platform security controlsExperience supporting highly available backend services in production environmentsExcellent troubleshooting, automation, and collaboration skillsExperience working in regulated industries or healthcare environmentsFamiliarity with AI or agent-enabling infrastructure patterns and platformsBenefitsProfessional development and growth opportunities.Competitive salary and benefits package.Supportive and inclusive work environment.Company OverviewMEDecision provides collaborative health care management solutions for clients.
