[Remote] DevOps Engineer

Agilyti is a Data and AI Consulting firm seeking an experienced DevOps / Kubernetes Engineer to deploy and configure AtScale's semantic layer platform in a client environment. The role involves standing up the infrastructure, deploying AtScale via Helm on a managed Kubernetes cluster, configuring storage and networking, and ensuring the platform is stable and production-ready.ResponsibilitiesProvision and configure a Kubernetes cluster to AtScale production spec (3-node, 48 CPU cores, 192 GB RAM minimum)Deploy AtScale via Helm charts, referencing AtScale's K8S Blueprints repositoryConfigure storage to meet 5,000 IOPS minimum for embedded PostgreSQL replicationSet up networking, ingress, and security policies (RBAC, secrets management)Stand up monitoring and logging (Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent)Coordinate with the client's cloud/security team on IAM permissions and network accessValidate deployment health and document the environment for client handoffSupport the Semantic Modeler during data-warehouse connectivity setupSkills3+ years hands-on Kubernetes administration (EKS, AKS, or GKE)Helm chart deployment and customizationDocker and container troubleshootingStrong on the client's cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Infrastructure as Code — Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormationLinux systems administrationStorage configuration & performance tuning (IOPS, volume expansion)RBAC, secrets management, and network policy configurationPrior AtScale deployment experienceDeploying data/analytics platforms on K8s (Databricks, dbt, Airflow)PostgreSQL administrationCI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Argo CD)Company OverviewAgilyti provides AI strategy, talent placement, and engineering services including data, cloud, automation, and application development.
