The ideal candidate will design, build, and scale automation tools for managing secure hybrid infrastructure, while driving automation and continuous deployment efforts.ResponsibilitiesDrives efforts in automation, continuous deployment, build, and configuration managementManage and orchestrate a global network of infrastructure with an emphasis on test driven development, security best practices and monitoringArchitect and build cloud infrastructure solutionsContribute to developing and deploying automation support for CI/CDDevelop infrastructure as code and testable infrastructureDevelop appropriate metrics to demonstrate performance and operational efficiencyWork cross-functionally with various teams to drive amazing resultsResolve problems at their root with simple and repeatable solutionsAutomate systems management solutions with self-repair as the goalSkillsU.S. Citizenship requiredBachelor's or higher in computer science, information technology, or equivalent (can be waived for corresponding experience) with 7+ years of relevant experience6-8 years of experience working with Linux in an enterprise production environmentExtensive experience using platform automation software like Ansible and TerraformExperience with supporting production infrastructure systems in public Clouds, including AWS, GCP, or AzureExperience with programming and scripting languages such as Bash or PythonExperience with enterprise monitoring and logging software such as Prometheus and SplunkExperience with OpenSearch/Elastic search in a redundant highly available environmentExperience with CI tools such as Jenkins or Github ActionsExperience in network engineering and security principles (e.g. protocols, routing, switching, filtering, firewall rules, etc.)Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or XenFamiliar with containerized solutions using Docker/KubernetesGood understanding of build pipeline, molecule testing, packaging, and artifact managementGood understanding of security and systems best practicesGood understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and VPNsBasic understanding of Site Reliability methodologiesExperience securing remote infrastructure is strongly preferredCompany OverviewThe Ntrepid Platform powers the diverse and evolving cyber operations needs of the national security and defense communities and the private sector.
