The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud infrastructure while collaborating with various teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions.ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure and network security controls within Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Configure and manage GCP security services including VPC Service Controls (VPC-SC), Cloud Armor, and Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) with IDS/IPS capabilitiesDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, including reusable modules and enterprise-scale deploymentsBuild, enhance, and support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Pipelines and GitHub ActionsAutomate cloud operations, security controls, monitoring, and incident response processes through scripting and toolingCollaborate with security, networking, and platform engineering teams to implement cloud security best practices and governance standardsPerform security assessments, vulnerability remediation, and risk mitigation across cloud environmentsInvestigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex cloud infrastructure and security incidentsCreate and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and runbooksConduct knowledge transfer sessions and provide operational support to ensure successful adoption of cloud security solutionsContinuously evaluate and recommend improvements to cloud security posture, automation frameworks, and deployment processesSkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field5+ years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Cloud Security Engineer3+ years of hands-on experience implementing and managing GCP network security servicesStrong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Strong experience with VPC Service Controls (VPC-SC)Strong experience with Cloud ArmorStrong experience with Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW)Strong experience with Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)Strong experience with Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS)Advanced expertise in Terraform, including reusable module development, state management, and enterprise deployment practicesHands-on experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines and GitHub ActionsStrong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, and/or PowerShellExperience with cloud networking, security architecture, and infrastructure automationStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCompany OverviewWe at SRM Digital are focused towards connecting businesses with top talent across various industries.
