[Remote] DevOps Architect, Trilogy (Remote) - $100,000/year USD
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Crossover is a company focused on maintaining uptime for over 50 SaaS products. The DevOps Architect will be responsible for ensuring service reliability, managing infrastructure initiatives, and implementing automation and monitoring solutions in AWS environments.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Advance reliability and standardization of cloud infrastructure across our expanding product portfolio by deploying comprehensive monitoring, automation, and AWS best practices
ā¢ Sophisticated infrastructure migrations, consolidations, production-quality automations, and monitoring enhancementsInvestigating production incidents, deploying immediate remediation, and documenting root cause analyses with permanent solutions assigned to responsible teams
ā¢ Authoring, validating, and executing production changes, including assessing the safety of proposed modifications before implementation
Skills
ā¢ Deep AWS infrastructure expertise (this is our primary platform - other cloud experience alone won't cut it)
ā¢ Experience owning large production infrastructure and troubleshooting production outages independently (not just following a runbook)
ā¢ Experience scripting with Python and Bash for day-to-day administration operations
ā¢ Experience managing and migrating production databases with multiple engines (including MySql, Postgres, Oracle, MS-SQL)
ā¢ Experience with infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation)
ā¢ Linux systems administration expertise
