The Development Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing Q-Systems Telecom & Networking design, pre-construction and construction activities on multiple projects, ensuring compliance with system standards and facilitating communication among various stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesManage projects on multiple campuses and oversee design / implementation budgets, schedules, and status reports for eachReview project design to ensure compliance with QTS system standards and Basis of Design documentsReview system installation to ensure compliance with system designOversee commissioning efforts to confirm systems operate in compliance with QTS system standards, Basis of Design and design documentsImplement and manage multi-phased site development plans to achieve time, budget, and quality standards in a predictable fashion. Continuously update a campus master plan to provide predictable statistics in a dynamic environmentEvaluate and level pricing proposals for technology design, construction, and commissioning servicesMonitor and track project schedules and manage teams to on-time completionIdentify schedule / implantation obstacles and proactively remove obstacles that are detrimental to project schedulesEstablish and maintain relationships serving as liaison with key QTS stakeholdersRepresent QTS interests as leader in OAC and low voltage meetingsWork with the internal development team to enhance project management processes and protocolsDevelop relationship with QTS Facility Operations and Technology teams to understand their needs and deliver technologies that support facility operation’s needsSkillsBachelor's degree in Technology, Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience4-8 years of professional experience in technology systems - security, and/or network infrastructure design and/or implementationExperience with Microsoft Office suiteBe able to travel up to 50% of the time.
