They are seeking a Developer (Accounting, ETL & Integrations) to design, develop, and support financial applications, data pipelines, and database solutions, ensuring the integrity and performance of enterprise financial systems.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain applications supporting accounting processes (GL, AP, AR, payroll, and budgeting)Build and implement API integrations with internal and external systems (ERP, CRM, banking, and third-party platforms)Translate finance and accounting requirements into scalable technical solutionsDevelop backend services using C# and .NET CoreBuild automation tools to streamline financial workflows and reduce manual processesDesign, develop, and maintain relational database structures supporting financial systemsEnsure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all accounting datasetsPerform database tuning, indexing, and performance optimizationDevelop stored procedures, views, triggers, and data logicDesign and implement ETL pipelines to support data ingestion, transformation, and reportingManage backups, recovery strategies, and security for sensitive financial dataDevelop and maintain SSRS reports for financial and operational reportingDesign and deliver dashboards and analytics using Power BISupport audit and reporting requirements with accurate, reliable data outputsEnsure reporting aligns with GAAP and internal accounting policiesImplement controls to support compliance with internal policies and regulatory standardsEnsure secure handling of sensitive financial and customer dataSupport internal and external audit processes with documentation and reporting extractsMaintain clear documentation of database structures, workflows, and integrationsPartner with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to prioritize and deliver solutionsProvide technical support and troubleshooting for financial systems and reporting toolsTrain business users on reporting capabilities and system enhancementsSkillsAdvanced SQL and database development expertise (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL)Strong experience with C# and .NET Core developmentProficiency in Python for automation, scripting, and data processingProven experience with API integration and implementationHands-on experience building and maintaining ETL processes and data pipelinesExperience developing and maintaining SSRS reportsExperience designing dashboards and analytics using Power BIStrong understanding of database design, normalization, and performance tuningWorking knowledge of accounting systems and financial reporting structuresStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, or related field3–7 years of experience in software development, database development, or data engineeringExperience with R for statistical analysis, modeling, or advanced analyticsExperience with ERP platforms (NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle)Exposure to cloud environments (Azure, AWS) and cloud-based data platformsUnderstanding of internal controls, audit processes, and SOX complianceProfessional certifications (CPA, CMA, Microsoft, Oracle, or similar)Experience working with accounting or financial systems preferredCompany OverviewSince 1983, Concorde has established itself as an industry leader in all facets of Employment Screening and Health Services including: Drug and Alcohol Testing, Background Screening and Occupational Health Services.
