Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Desktop Support Specialist to join our esteemed team, providing exceptional service and support to our employees technological needs. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless operations of our software and hardware systems while fostering a culture of collaboration and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for resolving technical inquiries and issues through our ticketing system, efficiently diagnosing and proposing solutions.
Provide training and guidance to employees on effective usage of company software and hardware.
Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of applications to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate closely with the IT team to set up new equipment and troubleshoot network challenges.
Remain informed of the latest technological advancements and contribute to ongoing system enhancements.

Required Skills
Over 3 years of experience in a technology support role with a proven track record of success.
Proficient in Windows, Azure, Office 365, SharePoint, and Intune.
Exceptional time management skills, capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, adept at assessing issues and implementing solutions.
Excellent communication skills with an ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and approachable manner.
Physical capability to handle computer equipment, lifting up to 40 lbs as needed.

Qualifications
A college degree in IT, cybersecurity, or a relevant field is advantageous, although demonstrated skills may suffice.
Experience with a Managed Service Provider (MSP) is considered a plus.
