The Designer I role is an entry-level position aimed at developing foundational skills in Revit modeling, coordination, and documentation while supporting project delivery and learning from mentors.ResponsibilitiesAlign your development and technical growth with company Objectives (OKRs) by contributing to coordinated project delivery through Revit modeling, documentation, and production work aligned with engineering directionDevelop discipline knowledge through hands-on production experience, applying feedback from senior engineers, production staff, and mentorsParticipate in performance assessments and apply feedback to strengthen technical skills, coordination awareness, and production qualityComplete required training journeys to support professional growth and consistent delivery practicesMaintain organized models, documentation, and markups that reflect accurate and current design intentShare lessons learned and observations with senior team members to support discipline documentation improvementsSupport project delivery through accurate production work, including preparing and updating Revit models, sheets, and markups aligned with engineering directionParticipate in discipline, project, team, and group meetings to strengthen coordination, awareness, and understanding of project workflowsSupport drawing coordination by implementing redlines and guidance from engineers and production staffDocument design updates and decisions in project tools when directedParticipate in BIM and engineering discussions to build coordination and technical understandingMaintain accurate and timely time and expense entries to support project tracking and delivery accountabilitySupport project teams by updating Revit models, drawing sets, documentation, and coordination items aligned with engineering direction and project deadlinesParticipate in project meetings, coordination sessions, and daily huddles to stay aligned with priorities, risks, and delivery needsImplement markups and delegated production tasks provided by senior engineers and production staffMaintain accurate task tracking, documentation, and design updates to support team visibility and coordinated deliveryAsk questions to clarify modeling direction, scope changes, or design expectations and apply feedback to improve technical executionPerform assigned design, modeling, coordination, and production work while maintaining organized files, notes, and updates that reflect current design intentRespond promptly to team requests and maintain accurate daily time entries and notes to support delivery accountabilitySupport site visits or existing conditions verification alongside senior team membersAssist with design coordination by reviewing models and drawings from other disciplinesParticipate in basic clash detection or coordination reviews under guidancePrepare diagrams, documentation, or graphics for internal and client deliverablesAssist with research, product evaluations, and specification support as directedContribute to updates or refinements of production templates, tools, or workflows under supervisionSkillsBS in Engineering (Electrical preferred), Architecture, or a related field; or equivalent experience in design, drafting, or technology systems0–2 years of experience in the AEC industry, design or technology systems, technology systems contracting, field or construction site exposure, or related professional or academic environmentsEagerness to learn and ability to follow directionCommitment to producing accurate, well-documented workAbility to respond quickly to feedback and incorporate revisions effectivelyStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to track tasks, take clear notes, and collaborate effectivelyProficiency in standard software tools (Microsoft 365 Suite, Google Workspace, Slack)Willingness to learn Autodesk tools, Asana, Bluebeam Studio, Callback One, and GitHubExposure to Revit, AutoCAD, or other drafting/modeling tools;
